Type 168 90 Degree Corner Combination
Type 168 90 Degree Corner Combination Fitting

A double corner swivel connector. Typically used on a sloping guardrail. The swivels can travel approximately 85 degrees from the horizontal in both directions.
THIS FITTING IS NOT DESIGNED TO WITHSTAND LATERAL LOADINGS. AN ENTIRE STRUCTURE SHOULD NOT BE BUILT USING ONLY SWIVEL FITTINGS, THIS WOULD BE UNSTABLE

The Tubeclamp system are manufactured with simplicity and ease of use very much in mind.
No special skills are required and also with no welding required to assemble just use an Hexagon drive key to tighten the set screws.

Selecting the correct size fitting for your tube is simple as all fitings have a letter in the type and this refers to the size of tube designed to fit correctly
Fittings with the letter " A " are for 26.9mm Outside Diameter Tube
( 3/4" Nominal Bore )
Fittings with the letter " B " are for 33.7mm Outside Diameter Tube
( 1" Nominal Bore )
Fittings with the letter " C " are for 42.4mm Outside Diameter Tube
( 1.1/4" Nominal Bore )
Fittings with the letter " D " are for 48.3mm Outside Diameter Tube
( 1.1/2" Nominal Bore )


Specifications
Tubeclamp fittings are iron cast and galvanised to BS EN 1461 1999 they are also supplied with Deltatone coating and with hardened set screws as standard.
